T25 Finals Day:
The Best Day of the Year is Almost Here!

Forget the hallowed turf of SW19 – this Saturday, June 28th, it's all about the red dirt of RH4!

After three months of fierce competition on the courts of Dorking, our T25 Club Tournament culminates in Finals Day. Come down and cheer on your favourites as they battle for glory!

See full schedule below for your reference. Please note that some matches are still to be decided based on earlier rounds.
Here are just a few of the day's unmissable highlights:

  • Men's Singles Final: Tristan vs. Stacy Can Tristan defend his title after his dominant semi-final performance against fan-favourite Brian? Only last year's runner-up, the formidable left-handed Stacy, stands in his way. Is Tristan truly the greatest player Dorking has ever seen? Join us to witness the showdown and see if Stacy can halt the champion's relentless charge towards the men's singles cup!
  • Mixed Doubles Thriller: Claire & Brian vs. Tracey & Stacy Brian, our seasoned coach, still has his sights set on a trophy! He's teamed up with fellow coach Claire to take on the former champions, Stacy and Tracey. Their names may rhyme, but their tennis is pure poetry in motion. Will Brian's 25 years of Dorking coaching wisdom be enough to outwit the onslaught from this formidable first-team pairing?
  • Ladies Singles: Juliette vs. Maddy – A Clash of Titans! This is truly the pick of the matches! Never in living memory have these two first-team companions faced each other in the Dorking Summer Tournament final. Expect gladiatorial combat, not seen since the Roman Colosseum as these two formidable players go head-to-head in a match too close to call. Who will emerge triumphant? Who will be fed to the lions ? You'll have to be there to find out!
  • Men's Doubles Trophy Final: Will Edge & Tom Foster vs. Steve Harrison & Simon Diacon Our very own Tennis Chair, Will Edge, takes to the court with new dad Tom Foster. They face the unpredictable Steve 'Bad Boy' Harrison, known for his powerful game, oversized racquet and supporting Crystal Palace, and Simon Diacon, a new member who has impressively also reached the Singles Plate final. Will sleepless nights affect Tom's game? Will Steve target Will's backhand? And can Simon, in his first Dorking final, hold his nerve under pressure?
  • 10 Junior Finals - from U9 to U18 we have the cream of the Dorking junior crop on display as they battle it out across a number of singles and doubles finals.

 

Whoever you're backing, whoever you love to watch, and no matter who eliminated you in the early rounds – make sure you're at Dorking Lawn Tennis and Squash Club for T25 Finals Day.

Forget paying £30 for a Wimbledon ground pass or £2.70 for just a few strawberries and cream – come experience scintillating tennis right here on your doorstep! It truly is the best day of the calendar year. Refreshments will be available throughout the day, including a lunch time BBQ.

Important Note for Players: Please ensure you arrive promptly for your matches. We recommend being at the club at least 15 minutes before your scheduled match time to warm up and be ready to start on time.
