Hello Everyone

It is with great sadness to tell you that one of our long standing tennis players, Sandy Thornton, passed away peacefully on Christmas morning.

One of her club friends, Mary Williams, has written a few words about her:

Sandy was an extremely popular and enthusiastic player at all club sessions, especially Ladies' Mornings. She loved a strong game, but was equally encouraging with weaker players and brought out the best in her partners. Sandy took a very genuine interest in everyone and kept in touch by anecdote and photos, even when abroad. When at home, she and Paul were very kind and generous with their fun-filled friendship. We are devastated at the loss of a truly remarkable lady and she will be greatly missed.
