An Evening with John Lloyd

Hi Everyone,

We still have a few tickets left for the evening with the legendary tennis player John Lloyd on 1st July at Dorking Lawn Tennis & Squash Club.

The evening will begin with a drinks reception at 7pm, followed by an opportunity to hear John share his insights into the game of tennis, the characters past and present in the locker room as well as his personal experiences on the tour.

John Lloyd is a former British No. 1 and Wimbledon semi-finalist. From 1970s sex symbol to Davis Cup captain, successful coach and commentator, John has in his checkered life struggled with addiction, bereavement and a fight with cancer, yet his witty and unique style of entertaining is sure to enthral young and old.

Tickets for the event are £25 and are also available for non-members, the ticket price includes a free drink and canapes. The price of the tickets is to mainly cover costs, as with all our social events, we aim to break even and not to make a profit.

We hope you will join us for this special evening, it is something very different from our normal events and we do hope that you will support us. It is a great opportunity to meet one of the legends of British tennis and learn more about the game that we all love and the characters that play it.
