Coaching Tip of the Week
Stay as calm as possible during your matches... It's not a bad thing to release a bit of frustration as long as it has a positive impact...
- Be in the moment, shut out distractions and don't dwell on the last point.
- Try to manage your fears, anxiety, frustrations... Fix your strings, deep breaths!
- Bounce back from each point as quickly as possible.. Take a bit extra time to reset your emotions....
- Be prepared to adapt your strategies based on your opponents strengths and how the points are playing out...
- VERY RARELY WILL YOU WIN STAYING ANGRY...
Remember to respect your opponent too.Outbursts can be seen as unsporting behaviour... Good Luck In Your Matches!
Big hugs to anyone who is going through a tougher time... You'll always feel better down the club and don't forget to ask the coaching team for any top tips to help your game...
Have a good week
Brian
