Updates from the Club Chairman and Bar Chairman - 19th July

Coronavirus

Latest about restrictions....

Dear Member
From 19th July….

Following government guide-lines we will be able to return to an almost normal way of life.

CHANGING ROOMS AND SHOWERS:
Full use of the ladies and gents, the boilers will be running and the systems have been flushed through. I know that the showers in the ladies changing-rooms have not been tested so please let us know if you experience any problems.

KITCHEN:
The kitchen is available for use for social events and match lunches, teas and suppers. We will not be providing milk etc as there was considerable wastage previously and the coffee machine contains all that you need for a delicious beverage, we are in the process of getting a card reader for the machine. May I suggest that you bring your own cup and help save the environment.

Please will anyone using the kitchen remember that the dirty crockery etc needs to be placed in the dishwasher, there are tablets and instructions provided. If you find that the machine is full of clean crockery, please empty the machine and put things away, thank you.

GENERAL:
Sanitisers will be kept charged for the foreseeable future and the wearing of masks inside discretionary.

Let’s hope that the sun continues to shine as it is this morning and that we all remain fit and healthy to enjoy the great facilities at the club.

I hope to see some of you at the AGM on Wednesday.

Tricia

And now a message from the Bar Chairman:

Dear Member

I hope like me you are all looking forward to relaxations of many of the Covid restrictions we have been living with for the past 15 months.

You will have received and read our Chairman’s latest update, but here is a specific one for anything bar related.

• You can now order and collect your drinks directly from the bar
• For the time being at least, we will continue to accept card payments only
• Please do not attempt to pay by cash as there will be no change in the till
• You do not have to sign in or scan the QR code when visiting
• As a courtesy to the bar staff can I please request that you return your dirty glasses and bottles to the bar? It will be very appreciated.
• Face masks discretionary

Thank you and enjoy your drinks.
